Mrs. Beulah Lee Comalander, 79, died Thursday, August 30, 2001, at a Florida hospital.
Mrs. Comalander was a native of Canoe and resident of Century for the past three years after spending most of her life in McDavid. She attended Byrneville Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Comalander; two sons, Darriell Comalander and Chris Comalander and a daughter, Georgia Prescott.
Mrs. Comalander is survived by seven sons, James and Liz Comalander of McDavid; Larry and Hazel Comalander of McDavid, Jerry and Bobbie Comalander of Dothan, Lamar and Patsy Comalander of Flomaton, Allen and Darlene Comalander of Mexia, David and Lori Comalander of McDavid and Reggie Comalander of Pensacola; three daughters, Eleanor Stuckey of Century, Melba and Buster Townson of Century and Mary and Happy Wiggins of McDavid; 25 grandchildren; 55 grandchildren and adopted son and daughter, Joseph and Martha Horst of Byrneville.
Funeral servcies will be held Sunday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Horst officiating.
Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery.
