Mrs. Lena Dewrell Hall, 85, of Pensacola, died Saturday, October 6, 2001, at a local nursing home.
She was a native of Covington County and resident of Pensacola since 1940. She was retired from Regis Paper Co. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church, Florida Chapter #9 OES, past Matron of Ferry Pass Chapter #294 OES, past Matron of Five Flags Court #49 Order of the Amaranth, past Bethel Guardian of Job's Daughter Bethel #14 and a member of Margaret Olson #90 Rebecca Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, G. W. (Robert) and Ada Belle Dewrell; her husband, Otis A. Hall and a son, Auburn M. Hall.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughter, Linda Belle Hall Dean and her husband, Kenneth, of Pensacola; two sons, O. "Buddy" Hall Sr. and his wife, Connie, of Panama City and Galon I. Hall Sr. of Pensacola; three sisters, Loyette D. Dunn and her husband, Edward; Byrdice D. King and Daphine D. Payne and her husband, Claude; two granddaughters, Deborah Brownlee and her husband, Jerry and Jenny Hall; four grandsons, E. O. Hall Jr., David Woerner and his wife, Sandra; Jeffrey Dean and Galon I. Hall II; two great-granddaughters, Melinda Brownlee and Sarah Brownlee; great-grandson Joseph Woerner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 9 at 2 p.m. at Live Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Steele officiating.
Burial followed at Bayview Memorial Park.
Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
