The Atmore Fire Department and Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Escambia County High School Friday evening. The call came in to APD at 6:19 p.m.
Police and fire vehicles blocked all entrances to the ECHS campus during the investigation.
There was no activity at the school. The Friday night football game was away.
Details on the bomb threat will be published in the Wednesday edition of The Advance.
