Mrs. Eunice Edna "Dortch" Faircloth, 89, died Monday, October 15, 2001, in Century.
Mrs. Faircloth was a native of McVay, Ala. and a resident of Bratt for most of her life. She attended First Baptist Church of Bratt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miley Faircloth.
Mrs. Faircloth is survived by three daughters, Lavelle Davis and her husband, Colvin and Betty Mason and her husband, Jerry, all of Bratt and Marie Flanigan and her husband, L. B., of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, L. C. Dortch and Gene Dortch, both of Bratt and Marvin Dortch of Warner Robbins, Ga.; two sisters, Cora McElhaney of Cantonment and Mazie Davis of Davisville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 18 at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. L. B. Flannigan and the Rev. Jesse Bailey officiating.
Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Ryan, Jeff Hester, Shannon Flanigan, Tommy Davis, J. C. Dortch and Clayton Scott.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
