Church's Chicken on North Main Street was the target of a lone robber Sunday night.
According to Atmore Police Chief Danny McKinley, the manager was leaving the store at closing, about 10:30, and was going to make a bank deposit.
She gave the following physical description of her assailant: black male, between 5'8" and 5'10", slender build. He was wearing dark clothing, and his face was covered with some type of mask make of shiny fabric.
At press time Tuesday, the matter was still investigation. Chief McKinley asks that anyone with information about the robbery call 368-9141.
