Of four teams competing in three divisions, Atmore will be sending three teams to the "Trophy Express Super Bowl" Daphne Saturday as they seek to hold on to their titles as winners of the northern divisions of their conferences.
At 12:30 p.m. on November 3, the Daphne Gold team will take on the Atmore 7- and 8-year-olds.
The game will be a showdown of wills, with Daphne not only seeking to defeat the Atmore team for the first time this season, but seeking to put the first points on the board against the squad.
Defensively, the Atmore 7- and 8-year-old team hasn't allowed a point all season. The game is slated on Superbowl 1 Stadium in Daphne.
At 1:30 p.m., the Fairhope Rams will seek to gain a local victory against Atmore Team 2 9- and 10-year-olds.
This team has solidified a win in their half of the division and is seeking to unseat Fairhope as winners of the south half.
