Mrs. Jessie Lee Jordan Harris died Friday, November 2, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Jay.
She was a native of Fort Deposit. She was preceded in death by five children.
Mrs. Harris is survived by four daughters, Mary Harris Elliott and Mamie Hawthorne and her husband, Ronald, all of Mobile, Jessie Mae Anderson and her husband, Willie Mack, of Century, and Dorothy Jean Betts and her husband, Hercules, of Atmore; three sons, Raymon Harris and his wife, Leah, of Pensacola and Julius Harris jr. and James Harris, both of Century; two sisters, Aana Robbins of Century and Evelyn Gambel of Albion, Minn.; a brother, Laymon Jordan of Century; 31 grandchildren and a host of great-gandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 6 with Pastor Antwon A. Wright officiating.
Pallbearers and flower attendants were family and friends.
Burial was at Century Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
