Click It' work earns S.O. honors

The Escambia County Commission has released an agenda for its regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m., at the Escambia County Courthouse.
During the meeting, Jack Chancery of the Southwest Alabama Regional Medical Center will speak to the commission in regard to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office's work during the recent "Click-It or Ticket" campaign. The sheriff's office will be presented with an award of $3,500 for their efforts during the campaign.
The commission will also discuss an ECATS agreement with Jefferson Davis Community College. According to County Administrator Tony Sanks the agreement will be a routine contract to help transport students at the college.
The commission will also consider approving advertising for a redistricting plan within the county.
The meeting, usually held on Mondays, will be held on Tuesday due to the Veteran's Day holiday.
