The Northview High School Chiefs will try to keep their undefeated record intact as they play the Madison County High School Cowboys in the 2nd round of the 2A Florida State High School Playoffs.
Northview has an explosive offense that averages over 50 points a game and over 500 yards of total offense.
The Chiefs have four possible Division I prospects on their squad: Kyle Williams, Jonathan Andrews, Mandell Smith, and Leonte Wright.
The defense also has their share of stars with linebacker Chase Lashley, linebacker O'Neil Dubose, defensive lineman Tony Stallworth, and defensive back John Madison..
The Chiefs manhandled the Florida High School Seminoles 47-13 last Friday night in Northview.
The Chiefs gained over 400 yards of total offense in the blowout.
The game was over before the second half even began, as Northview earned a 33-0 heading into halftime.
The Chiefs rode the legs of Leonte Wright and O'Neil Dubose as Northview won their first playoff game in two years.
Wright had 128 yards on eight carries and three touchdowns, while Dubose gained 93 yards on 12 carries and one touchdown.
Kyle Williams also played a key part in the Chief win by throwing for 155 yards on 9/16 passing and two touchdowns.
The defense also played a fantastic game.
They did not allow a point until 6:01 left in the third quarter when the Seminoles scored on a Donald Singleton 80 yard romp into the endzone for a touchdown.
They only allowed 13 points the entire game and under 240 yards of total offense.
The defense also created four turnovers for the offense to capitalize on.
Madison County brings a 8-2 record into the game.
Their two losses were 16-6 to 5A Valdosta and 17-10 to 5A Panama City Mosley.
The Cowboys offense is also highly explosive, averaging 33 points a game, while outscoring their opponents 339-49 during the regular season.
The Cowboys murdered West Nassau 69-0 last week in the first round game of the playoffs.
The game will be in Northview, Friday night at 7:30.
