Mrs. Dora Lucille Walker McCall, 95, of Oak Grove, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002 in Pensacola.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph McCall; a grandson, James Edward McCall; a brother, Cephas Walker and her parents, James Edward and Laura Jones Walker.
Mrs. McCall is survived by three sons, Thomas Edward McCall of Jacksonville, Fla., Calvin R. McCall and Wayne McCall, both of Oak Grove; two daughters, Erlene Pugh of Oak Grove and Norma Taylor of Atmore; two brothers, Clarence R. Walker and J.B. Walker, both of Oak Grove; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 11 at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Gilley officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Donald Pugh, Darryl Pugh, Eric McCall, Tommy McCall, Sam Walker and Mike McCall. Honorary pallbearers were George Carpenter, Gladen Gibson, Randy Baker, A.J. Hudson, Elvin Pugh, and J.D. Rigby
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
