Mr. Phillip Marcus "Marc" Wooten, 26 of Atmore,, died Wednesday, January16, 2002, in Gulf Breeze.
He was a Diving Tender for Torch, ,lNC.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marshall Wooten and grandparents: John H. and Jackie Phillips.
Mr. Wooten is survived by his parents, Tony and Patricia Wooten of Atmore; a brother, Steven Ross Wooten of Atmore; grandmother, Sue Wooten of Canoe; great-grandparents, Lavon and Bertha Brooks of Canoe; several aunts and uncles, Larry and Becky Godwin, Chris and Susan Kirk, Benny and Sandra Mason, and Rodney and Beth Phillips and numerous cousins including Wendy O'Bryan.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Horne Chapel with the Rev. Gene Pickern and Dr. Frank Taylor officiating. I
Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Lindsey Brown, Chance King, Sloan Bush, Jason Chunn, Kevin Ford, and Judd Mason. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Kirk, Josh Mason, John Phillips, Blaine O'Bryan, Blake Kirk, and Turner Kirk.
