James Robinson Russell was recently honored as a 1rst team selection to the SEMO All-Conference High School Soccer Team for Southeast Missouri.
The Conference Team is comprised of 15 players selected by the coaches from each of the eight teams represented in the Conference.
Robinson Russell was the only sophomore selected for first team recognition out of the entire conference.
He has played club, competitive soccer throughout the Midwest for the past five years.
Robinson Russell has been chosen to play for the Metro FC U16 Boys team from Edwardsville, Illinois.
Metro's first tournament is in Tampa, Florida during December 27-30, 2001.
Russell is the grandson of James and Linda Robinson of Atmore and Clara Russell of Oak Grove, Florida.
His parents are Keith and Margaret Russell of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
