EA Baseball start set for Feb. 28 in Canoe

The Escambia Academy baseball team have been warming up the baseball fields in Canoe with thier promise of a good year and a possible state championship.
Another reason the Cougars are happy is the return of nine players from last year's team. Those players are: senior Tripp Dawson, senior Justin Shirley, senior Michael Cannon, junior Bradford Price, junior Jace Beasley, junior Cody White, sophomore Steven Shirley, sophomore Kevin Adair, and sophomore Raymond Wilson.
The rest of the Cougars team are: senior Nic Ikner, junior Cole Norton, sophomore Chris Moore, sophomore Bo Gideon, freshman Tyler Wilkens, freshman J.R. Hall, freshman Bucky Dawson, freshman Josh Morgan, freshman Matt Amerson, and freshman Billy McCann.
Adair and Dawson will be also be the vocal point of the offense along with Justin Shirley and Bradford Price.
The Cougars open up thier season with Jay High School on February 28 in Canoe. The game will start at 3:30 and admission is $ 3.00.
