Miss Samantha Annette Smith, 46, died Thursday, February 28, 2002, at Atmore Community Hospital.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore and worked as a cashier/clerk for a gas company. She was a 1974 graduate of Escambia County High School and had attended Faulkner State Community College.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Coleman and her grandparents.
Miss Smith is survived by her mother, Marie Watkins-Smith of Atmore and three brothers, Johnny Watkins and his wife, Rika, of Los Angeles, Calif., Ray Charles Smith and his wife, Susan, of Atlanta, Ga. and Allen Smith of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6 at noon at Turner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A. T. Days officiating.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Tuner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
