A shooting that occured Sunday night has left one man in serious but stable condition.
Tiaran Nero, 20, was shot in the lower back area one time with a semi-automatic weapon outside the Happy Days club in Atmore.
Charges are pending against two brothers, Randy (Shay) Johnson, 24, and Timothy Oneal Finklea, 23, in connection with the shooting. While police are unclear of Johnson or Finklea's role, according to information obtained from the Atmore Police Department both suspects turned themselves over to APD officers.
According to Atmore Police Chief Bruce Lovett, both of the suspects had guns and fired, but police are not sure exactly which bullet from which gun struck Nero.
Johnson and Finklea are both being charged with attempted murder.
Family members said doctors have not yet removed the bullet from Nero's back.
The shooting allegedly resulted from a confrontation between Nero and Johnson and Finklea. The confrontation started inside the bar and eventually moved to the parking lot and street.
Nero was transferred to Atmore Community Hospital for treatment, and then later transferred to USA Medical Center in Mobile.
He is currently in stable but serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
According to family members Nero is not responsive.
Lt. Charles Elliard with the APD is investigating this case.
According to family members Nero has recovered some movement and doctors believe Nero will walk again.
