Fla. theft suspect arrested in Atmore

Atmore Police Department officials announced Wednesday that they have apprehended an Atmore man believed to be involved in several burglary and theft cases in Florida.
Wilfred Shaundale Finley was arrested March 19 by Atmore Police on charges of receiving stolen property.
According to APD Chief Bruce Lovett, the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office are continuing the investigation against Finley, hoping to link him to other burglary and theft cases in Northwest Florida.
In a press release prepared by APD Investigator Chuck Brooks, the arrest comes after a month long investigation.
Finley is currently being held at the Escambia County Jail in Brewton on charges of receiving stolen property.
Investigators said Charges are pending from the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office, pending more warrants being signed against him.
Finley was pawning the stolen property at pawn shops in Flomaton, Atmore and Bay Minette.
Investigators with the APD and Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office have been watching Finley close for over a month after complaints arose of burglary and theft in Northwest Florida.
Some of the items were recovered at a pawn shop in Atmore, valuing over $16,000.
Pending more charges from the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's office, Finley's fate is unknown.
Officials with the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office were not available for comment at press time.
