Mr. Martin Russell Lassiter, 39, of Atmore died Saturday, March 30, 2002, in Baldwin County.
He was employed by J-Mar Trucking and was a native of Huntsville.
Mr. Lassiter is survived by his wife, Tammy Cooper Lassiter of Atmore; two sons, Russell Lassiter and Aaron Bowers, both of Atmore; three daughters, Tabitha Croft of Lake City, Fla., Ashley Cobb of Atmore and Tosha Lassiter of Flomaton; his mother and step-father, Alice Ruth and Robert Gates, of Walnut Hill; father and step-mother, Russell and Maxine Lassiter, of Atmore; four brothers, Rusty Lassiter, Randy Lassiter, David McGhee and Gary McGhee, all of Atmore; two sisters, Linda Hamilton of Atmore and Rebel Gates Howard of Walnut Hill and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Burial followed at McCullough Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Timmy Slate, Mark Burkett, George Venema, Danny Lambert, Danny Gorem, John Howard and Ronnie Ortis.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral home. Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
