Babe Ruth 14's split double header with rival Bay Minette

The Atmore Babe Ruth 14 year-old team began playing their exhibition games against the Bay Minette 14 year-old Babe Ruth team on June 12 by splitting a double header that was played in Atmore.
The Atmore team went into the double-header trying to get a split with Bay Minette and they achieved their goal as they took the second game of the double-header to even out the season series.
The Atmore boys could not get anything going on offense throughout the first game, as they ran into a very hot Bay Minette pitcher and were shutout for the game.
The only bright spot on offense was the hitting of Chris Graham, Jeremy Lisenby , and Alvin Simmons. Graham was the only Atmore hitter with multiple hits, as he went 2/3 at the plate.
Simmons and Lisenby each went 1/2 at the plate for the Atmore to round the Atmore production at the plate.
Brandon Arnold earned the loss for Atmore on the mound. He pitched three innings: allowing one hit, two runs, three walks, and four strikeouts.
Mathew Reynolds and Charles Dailey also pitched for Atmore. Reynolds pitched three innings: allowing two hits, one run, one walk, and three strikeouts while Dailey pitched the last inning: allowing no hits, no runs, no walks, and recorded one strikeout.
The second game was a complete turnaround from the first game for Atmore.
Instead of being shutout in the run column, the Atmore pitchers were now the ones who dominated. The y only allowed one run for the game, as they completely dominated the Bay Minette hitters.
Charles Dailey earned the win on the mound for Atmore, as he pitched three innings: allowing two hits, one run , no walks, and three strikeouts.
Chris Graham came in the game in relief for Atmore and pitched three innings. He allowed no runs, no hits, no walks, and had one strikeout.
Mathew Reynolds and Chris Graham lead Atmore at the plate. Reynolds went 1/3 with two runs scored, while Graham went 1/3 with two runs scored and two RBI's.
Brandon Arnold and Alvin Simmons also had good games at the plate for Atmore. Arnold went 1/1 with two RBI's, while Simmons managed to go 2/2 at the plate.
