Mrs. Ruby B. Tyree, 86, of Lakeland, Fla., died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Lakeland. She was a native of Castleberry.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Van Byrd and second husband, Wilton Tyree.
Mrs. Tyree is survived by two sons, Billy Tyree of McCullough and Barney Tyree of Range; three daughters, Shirley Sexton of Lakeland, Hazel Boss of Jacksonville, Fla. and Rachel Stewart of Rabon; two brothers, Marion Waters of Selma and Yancey Waters of Clanton; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Boatwright officiating.
Burial followed at Dean Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
