Gwendolyn Albritton Irvin, 87, died Thursday, July 4, 2002 in Atmore.
Irwin had been a native of Nokomis and a resident of Atmore since 1990. She attended Atmore Church of God.
Irwin is survived by two sons, Leslie Ray hall of Davisville and Larry Irwin of Bratt; a brother, marion Howard "Bud" Albritton of Atmore; five sisters, Ruby Rushing of Mobile, Gladys Caraway of Hurley, Miss., Jean McGhee and Edna Raines, both of Atmore, and Yvonne Kirtley of Sandord, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Leslie Shannon Hall of Mexia.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6 at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Wood and Marcus Caraway officiating.
Burial followed at Antioch Cemetary.
