About four weeks ago Terrill Rigsby, Rob Faircloth and Terrence Breckenridge, came to the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce with the desire to adopt Heritage Park.
And, the Chamber was happy to oblige.
The project is part of a continuing effort by city business owners to help clean up Atmore.
Even though the heat of summer is growing stronger every day, the men still make it out to the park as often as they can.
While they all have done much to help in the cleanup, Faircloth attributes the idea to Breckenridge.
According to Mims, that's not all they've done.
Mims said that many visible and non-visible improvements have been made.
All those involved in the beautification of the park are Rob Faircloth, Elliot Faircloth, Terrence Breckenridge, Terrill Rigsby, Lamar Godwin, Jace Beasley, and Miles Smith.
Faircloth and Breckenridge represent David's Catfish House and Rigsby is a representative of his business, CNR Security.
