Author to sign in Atmore

Alabama author Marvin Rogers will be making an appearance at the Atmore Public Library this August.
Rogers' reception at the library will take place on Thursday, August 1, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
He will be signing his mystery novel, "The Bermuda Indenture" his first book.
Rogers is an Assistant Attorney General assigned to the staff of the Alabama Oil and Gas Board. He grew up in Butler in Choctaw County. Rogers now lives with his wife and son in Tuscaloosa.
McKinley said that they have held book signings at the library in the past.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Atmore Public Library and is open to the general public. For more information, call the Atmore Public Library at 368-5234.
