Lakeitric Derrell Craft, 13, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at his residence.
He was a resident of Atmore (Freemanville)and he attended Living God and The Pillar and Ground. He was a student at Escambia County High School and was going into the ninth grade.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas J. and Willionese Craft.
Craft is survived by his mother, Hazel D. Barnes of Atmore; his father, James E. Craft of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Latecia A. Barnes and Jashaylia D. Craft, both of Atmore; two brothers, Jkaia Craft and Jamon Craft, both of Jacksonville; grandparents, George and Jacqueline Dukes of Atmore ; great grandmother, Lelia McCastle of Atmore and great grandfather, Caliborne Dukes, of Atmore.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, from 1 to 8:30 p.m. at Longmire/Jones Chapel of Turner Funeral Chapel. There will be a family hour from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3 at 2 p.m. at The Pillar Ground and Holiness Church. The body will in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
