Mr. James H. 'Jimmy' Townson, 59, of Cantonment, died Saturday, August 10, 2002, at a local hospital.
He was a native of Lake Village, Ark. and a resident of Cantonment most of his life. He was retired from Champion Paper Company after 37 years of services.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Townson.
Mr. Townson is survived by his mother, Ruby Townson of Cantonment; his wife, Loretta Townson of Cantonment; two brothers, Art Townson of Winfield, W. V. and Carl Townson of Cantonment and a number of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 13 at 3 p.m. at Faith Chapel North with the Rev. Edward Hicks officiating. Burial followed at Harvest Christian Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Claude Wiley, Paul Wiley, Toby Boutwell, Harold Schoen, J. T. Sessions and Chris Dunn.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
