Mr. J. D. Page, 83, died Thursday, August 29, 2002, at a Pensacola hospital.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Robinsonville, attended Robinsonville Baptist Church and was retired from St. Regis after 24 years of service.
Mr. Page is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Ella V. Page of Robinsonville; two sons, Henry (Joy) Page of Marietta, Ga. and Jerry (Linda) Page of Saraland; a daughter, Eugenia (Robert) Normand of Fairhope; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 31 at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Dewitt Allen officiating. Burial followed at Robinsonville Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Daniel Ferrouillat, Darrell Ferrouillat, Sean Normand, Dorian Normand, Willie James Wearren and Jim Winson. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday school class, Eddie Baker, Jim Miller, Joe Frank Kearley, Dean Smith, Edwin Fore, Clyde Helton, Bill Reaves, Jimmy Ray, Joe Pennington, Albert Singleton, Rudolph Wearren and Grady Slay.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
