Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Dunn Sasser, 77, of Atmore, died Saturday, September 7, 2002, in Pensacola.
She was co-owner of Atmore Plumbing and a member of Presley Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by six brothers.
Mrs. Sasser is survived by her husband, Max Sasser of Atmore; a son, Henry (Anne) Lowery Jr. of Silverhill; two daughters, Patsy Lowery (Charles) Frazier of Monroewville and Madelyn Lowery (Dick) Costa of Los Altos, Calif.; two brothers, Kimbrough Dunn of Thomasville and Dale Dunn of Selma; eight grandchildren, Darren Frazier, Chris Frazier, Kim Jordan, Jennifer Costa, Heather Costa, Jessica Costa, Stephanie Costa and Meredith Lowery and four great-grandchildren, Chelsea Jordan, Emily Jordan, Jareth Frazier, and Emily Hagan.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 10 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Otis Thames officiating.
Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
