Funeral services for Ronnie Shaw, 55, will be held today, Nov. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Hutto officiating. Interment will follow at Godwin Cemetery.
A native of Bratt, he was a resident of Pensacola for the past 50 years. He attended the Baptist Church. He died on Oct. 31, 2002 at a Pensacola hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillian Shaw. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Marie (George) Williamson of Pensacola; his grandson, Bain Chance Williamson of Pensacola; three brothers, Marvin Shaw and Jamie Shaw, both of Pensacola, and Ray Shaw of San Antonio, Texas; five sisters, Gerry Shaw Maloney of Loganville, Ga., Sharon Shaw (Paul) of Loganville, Ga., Marie Shaw (John) Bennett of Molino, Fla., Kelly Shaw Land of Pensacola and Vicki Shaw White of Pensacola; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Dolores M. Oden

Funeral services for Dolores M. Oden, 75, were held on Nov. 1, 2002 at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Leon Stewart officiating. Interment followed at Flomaton Cemetery.
A native of Quincy, Ill., and a resident of Pineview since 1975, she had been a member of Sav-A-Life, the YMCA, an alto in the Mission of Belles Trio and a retired employee of the Alabama Department of Corrections after 25 years of service. She died on Oct. 29, 2002 at a Pensacola hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry L. Oden, and her parents, Andrew and Hazel Meyer.
She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Lewis P. and Marcia Oden of Flomaton and David L. and Theresa Oden of Flomaton; her daughter and her spouse, Tammie and Sammy Barnhille of Midland, Texas; a brother and his spouse, Lewis A. and Martha Meyer of Mobile; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Judy Hill

Funeral services for Judy Hill, 48, were held on Nov. 2, 2002 at the Unity Baptist Church, with Dr. Frank Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
A native of Pleasant Grove and a resident of Flomaton for the past 18 years, she was an employee of Z-Tel and attended the Unity Baptist Church. She died on Oct. 30, 2002 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Inez King. She is survived by her husband, William G. Hill of Flomaton; her father, Earl King of Atmore; two daughters, Tonya Black of Atmore and Tasha Sutton of Flomaton; three brothers, Don King and Dannie King, both of Atmore, and Tony King of Pleasant Grove; three sisters, Evelyn Davis of Pritchard, Esther Price of Poarch and Janice Pugh of Flomaton; and three grandchildren, Cody Pridgen, Ashley Nichole Ward and Aireona Sutton.
Pallbearers were Clint King, Derrick Price, John Flowers, Jr., Brandon Sutton, Shane Lee and Kenneth Pugh, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Cody Pridgen, Tim Darnell, Terry Smith and Derrick Brooks.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Nancy Nell Lowery Steele

Funeral services for Nancy Nell Lowery Steele, 85 and a resident of Bay Minette, were held on Nov. 2, 2002 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, with Dr. Douglas Newton officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
A member of the First United Methodist Church of Atmore, she died on Oct. 30, 2002 in Mobile.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Claude and Ellen Steel, Jr., of Louisiana; her daughter and husband, Claudette and Allen Nix of Bay Minette; a sister, Pauline Davis of Selma; and the following grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Suzanna and Randal Barnet and their daughter, Molly Barnet, of Atmore, Kip and Debra Nix and daughters Andry and Mattie Nix of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dr. Chad and Jennifer Steele and son Cullen Steele of New Orleans, and Scott Steele and his fiance Sherry Roche of Shreveport, La.

Kathryn Hiebert

Funeral services for Kathryn Hiebert, 67, were held on Nov. 2, 2002 at the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church, with Wilbert Peters, Carlos Koehn, Garlen Harms and Ben Giesbrecht officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Hiebert died on Oct. 30, 2002 in a Florida hospital.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Hiebert, and two brothers, Henry Smith and Glenn Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Hiebert of Walnut Hill; two sons, Steve and wife Lynette Hiebert of Walnut Hill and Kendall and wife Rhonda Hiebert of Sarasota, Fla.; three brothers, Wayman and wife Charity Smith of Walnut Hill, Paul and wife Viola Smith of Leland, Miss., and Dan, Jr., and wife Joyce Smith of Lakin Kan.; five sisters, Beulah and husband Abe Blosser of Mifflinburg, Penn., Anetta and husband Clayton Yost of Inman, Kan., and Geneva and Duane Smith of Liberal, Kan.; two sisters-in-law, Annabel Smith of Salem, Ore., and Verna Smith of Hutchinson, Kan.; and three grandchildren, Ryan, Darren and Lindsey Smith.
Pallbearers were Errol Smith, Lyle Smith, Roger Yost, Randy Yost, Doug Smith and Rod Ensz.
