Funeral services for Marjorie Edith Harrison Wise, 86 and a resident of Atmore, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Kelly Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Born on Nov. 2, 1916 in Frisco City to the late Claude and Annie Austin Harrison, she was a graduate of Montevallo University and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. She died on Nov. 11, 2002 in Atmore.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Harrison. She is survived by her husband, Ulay K. Wise of Atmore; a sister, Norma Harrison Cook of Dickerson, Texas; and three nephews, Claude Harrison of Birmingham, Boyce Harrison and Royce Harrison, both of Mobile.
Active pallbearers will be the deacons of the First Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Ania Coker, Aniter risher, Betty simms and the Hospice Staff of Monroeville.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
Woodrow Johnson

Funeral services for Woodrow Johnson, 75 and a resident of Atmore, were held on Nov. 9, 2002 at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, with Rev. Jody Silvers and Rev. Donnis Bowman officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Born on June 21, 1927 to the late Jack Curtis and Mae Belle Ryland Johnson, he was a retired automobile mechanic. He died on Nov. 7, 2002 in Atmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Emma Jean Brooks and Lilli Ree Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Conway Johnson of Atmore; two daughters, Woodlou Harville and husband Danny Lee of Perdido, and Linda Sue Boutwell and husband Andy of Flomaton; a brother, Charles C. Johnson and wife Lois of Spanish Fort; a sister, Inez Brooks and husband Nathan of Grand Bay; a brother-in-law, Herbert Brooks of Grand Bay; and three grandchildren, Allison, Kaci and Andrea Boutwell, all of Flomaton.
Active pallbearers were Raymond Kimmons, Kevin Knowles, James Lambeth, James Presley, Charles Stacey and Jerry Stewart.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
Phyllis Louise Joiner

Funeral services for Phyllis Louise Joiner, 53, of Flomaton were held Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at Dry Springs Community Church with Rev. Robert Porter officiating. Interment followed at Dry Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Joiner was a native of Molino, FL, a resident of Abbeville for 26 years, and a resident of Flomaton for the past 4 months. She attended the Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Joiner was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Joiner; her mother, Frances Mitchell; and a brother, Eugene Mitchell. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Kirk Britt of Grand Bay, AL and Patricia and Tyson Scott of Abbeville, AL; her father, Irvin Mitchell of Century; her brother, Curtis Mitchell of Pensacola; her sister, Marie Baldwin of Flomaton; and six grandchildren, Brittany Scott, Joshua and Angie Jerry, Christian Britt, and Tyler and Jessica Britt.
Pallbearers were James Mitchell, Douglas Preston, Joshua Jerry, Lance Little, Trent Little, and James Jones.
Early Alfred White

Funeral Services for Mr. Early Alfred White, 78, were held Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Thursia Long officiating. Interment followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Mr. White was a native of Perdido, AL and a resident of Interlachen, FL for the past 32 years. He was a W.W.II veteran and attended Pentecostal Church.
Mr. White was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Douglas White. He is survived by his wife, Laura B. White of Interlachen, FL; his son Charles E. White of Interlachen; his daughter, Debbie Downing of Oak Hills, CA; three brothers, Ernest White of Bay Minette, Arthur White of Stockton, and Bernard White of Perdido; his sister, Mary Carden of Clanton, AL; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James White, Randy White, Donnie White, Mason Bryars, Victor White, James Peacock, and Franklin King.
Alice Aurelia Skipper

Funeral services of Alice Aurelia Skipper, 84, of Brewton, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Knowles and Rev. Andy Hepburn officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Skipper was a native of Greenville and a resident of Brewton since 1949. She was a member of Alco Baptist Church.
Mrs. Skipper was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Skipper and a daughter, Shirley Ann. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William Roger and Kathryn Skipper of Mobile and Robert Irvin and JoAnn Skipper of Atmore; two sisters, Etheline Wasden and Velma Bradley of Greenville, AL; four grandchildren, Richard Skipper of Irmo, SC, John Skipper of Atmore, Matthew Skipper of Richmond, VA, and Marlena Skipper Ware of Germany; one step-granddaughter, Kim Robinson of Montgomery; eight great-grandchildren; a special friend, Hannah Hughes; and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary Inez Forte

Funeral services for Mary Inez Forte, 86, of Atmore, were held Tuesday, Nov.. 12, 2002 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Grindle and Bro. Eugene Stokes officiating. Interment followed at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Forte was a native of Escambia County, AL, a retired employee at Vanity Fair Mills and a member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Forte is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Ernestine Forte of Atmore, AL; two brothers, Clinton Stokes of Monroeville, AL and Tony W. Stokes of Theodore, AL; one sister, Gladys Bishop of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
