Farmers Insurance Group has joined forces with local U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and Toys for Tots to help collect toys for disadvantaged children.
Any new, unwrapped toy can be dropped off at any of Farmer's locations in Escambia, Mobile and Baldwin counties during regular business hours until the week before Christmas.
Every year, Toys for Tots chooses a local business as a collection point to help them give Christmas to children who otherwise wouldn't receive any gifts.
"Farmer's wanted to partner with the Marine Corps in helping less fortunate families during the holidays," said Farmer representative Chris Kirk of Kirk Insurance Agency. The U.S. Marine Corps will coordinate the distribution of the toys to local children.
