Earlene Roberts "Doodle" Eubanks

Funeral services for Earlene Roberts "Doodle" Eubanks, 86, of Bratt, Fla., were held on Nov. 10, 2002, at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Davis, Todd Tompson and Rick Roberts officiating. Interment followed at Godwin Cemetery.
Born on May 9, 1916 to Travis and Irma Nolan Wiggins, Mrs. Eubanks, a homemaker, was a native of Escambia County, Fla.
Mrs. Eubanks was preceded in death by her first husband, Winston Roberts, Sr., her second husband, Frank P. Eubanks and one son, Winston Roberts, Jr.
She is survived by one son, Billy Roberts of Bratt, Fla., one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jerry Thompson, of Cantonment, Fla., one sister, Ida Ree Norris, of Alexander City, Ala., one daughter-in-law, Juanetta Roberts, of Bratt, Fla., nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Stomy Roberts, Jack Padgett, Chris Roberts, Scottie L. Smith, Rick Roberts, Tony Thompson and Todd Thompson.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Daisy Little Smith Bray

Funeral services for Daisy Little Smith Bray, 86 and a resident of Atmore, were held on Nov. 14, 2002 at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, with Brother Doug Odom and Brother Gean Stokes officiating. Interment followed at the Pine View Cemetery in Flomaton.
Bray died on Nov. 12, 2002 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dolly Little, and brothers Ira, Cary and Charlie Little.
She is survived by four daughters, Gladys S. (Johnnie) Davis of Cantonment, Melba S. (Marion) Bartlett of Thomasville, Erma S. (Basil) Davis of Sweetwater and Jewel S. (Joel) Chandler of Flomaton; four sons, Billy G. (Gloria) Smith of Atmore, Leroy (Judy) Smith of Atmore, Dean (Beth) Smith of Atmore and Dan Allen (Debbie) Smith of Flomaton; six brothers, J.W. Little of Wing, Ala., Fred Little of Andalusia, Merdice Little of Greenville, Harold Little of Wing, Ala., Henry Little of Montgomery and John Little of Andalusia; five sisters, Mazie Williams of Atmore, Clara Dowling of Crestview, Martha Easterling of Wing, Ala., Jewel Young of Wing, Ala., and Mavis Freeman of Andalusia; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Wayne Igo

Wayne Igo, 64, of Jay, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002 at Century.
Born to Steward and Inez Igo, of New Castle, Ind., Igo was a former resident of Atmore and a retired manager from Terminix.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Igo, of Jay, Fla. One son, Wayne Igo, Jr., of Century, Fla. Three daughters, Jennifer Strawbridge, of Jay, Fla., Ramie Igo, of Mobile, Ala. and Kathy Igo, of Fort Worth, Texas. One brother, Melvin Igo, of New Castle, Ind. One sister, Carol Stringer, of Tallahassee, Fla. and five grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made to Covenant Hospice, at 2002 North Parafox St. Pensacola, Fla., 32501-2144.
Marjorie Edith Harrison Wise

Funeral services for Marjorie Edith Harrison Wise, 86 and a resident of Atmore, were held on Nov. 14, 2002 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Kelly Brown officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Born on Nov. 2, 1916 in Frisco City to the late Claude and Annie Austin Harrison, she was a homemaker and a graduate of Montevallo University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. She died on Nov. 11, 2002 in Atmore.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Harrison.
She is survived by her husband, Ulay K. Wise of Atmore; a sister, Norma Harrison Cook of Dickerson, Texas; three nephews, Claude Harrison of Birmingham, Boyce Harrison and Royce Harrison, both of Mobile.
Active pallbearers were the deacon's of the First Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers were Anita Coker, Aniter Risher, Betty Simms and the staff of Hospice of Monroeville.

Deacon Louis Bishop

Funeral services for Deacon Louis Bishop, 89, were held on Nov. 16, 2002 at Jones Street Holiness Church, with Elder Willie Williams officiating. Interment followed at Stallworth Cemetery in Atmore.
Born on July 6, 1913, he was retired from Connors Steel Ironworks in Birmingham and later moved to Atmore in the early 1980's, where he united with the Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church and remained faithful until his death on Nov. 13, 2002. He was Chairman of the Trustee Board, Deacon Board and a Sunday School Teacher for the Men's Adult Class.
He is survived by his wife, Clementine Bishop of Atmore; three brothers-in-law, Simon Milton and A.D. Milton, both of Atmore, and Joseph Tims of Freemanville; two adopted sons, Bishop Willie L. Williams and Elder Leroy (Lula) Knight, Sr., both of Atmore; godchildren Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Ford of Birmingham; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; devoted friends Mrs. Willie Mae Ford of Birmingham and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Matthews and family of Atmore; and the entire Jones Street Pentecostal Holiness Church family.
