Escambia County High School's junior varsity boys basketball team ran its record to 8-1 overall with a resounding 91-44 home win over Baldwin County High School last week.
Chris Andrews led the team in scoring with 20 points while Lorenzo Arnold added 13, Jimmy Craft 12 and Travis Montgomery 10.
The Blue Devils return to action Friday for a home game against Hillcrest, scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m., before taking some time off for the Christmas holidays.
The junior varsity squad willb e back in action on Jan. 10 with a road game against Charles Henderson, then returns home for a Jan. 11 contest against Wilcox Central.
