California student looks for help
Editor,
I am a fifth grade student, and my class is studying America and American history. We have been asked to write research reports on one of our favorite states in America. I have chosen to report on Alabama.
The reports will cover topics such as history, culture, geography, jobs and places of interest. The reason I am writing is to ask for some assistance.
I am hoping some of your readers will write to me and tell me about their experiences while living and working in Atmore. I live in Southern California and am sure many things about Atmore are different from where I live. Also, if any of your readers find time to reply, it would be great if they would enclose a copy of my published letter.
Thank you very much for taking time for my request. I appreciate any help you or your readers might send.
Chardae D.

Nursing Care Center says thanks
Editor,
We, the staff and members of the Atmore Nursing Care Center, would like to send up our many thanks to all the business, churches and other organizations in our town and other surrounding areas that donated merchandise, gift certificates and other door prizes during our Annual Christmas Party.
Businesses like you have allowed this facility to make our party special. So once again, the Atmore Nursing Care Center employees would like to say thank you for your support and efforts in making the holidays more enjoyable.
