Headstart applications are now being accepted

Community Action Agency of Baldwin, Escambia, Clarke, Monroe and Conecuh Counties Head Start Program is now accepting applications for the 2003-2004 program year. Contact your local center for time and locations.
Items you will need to bring in order to make application include the child's birth certificate, the child's blue immunization slip, Social Security card for all family members, proof of income such as a W-2, 1040 or 1040A form or the last four pay stubs, current Medicaid card and private insurance or All-Kid's health insurance card.
If the child has a diagnosed disability, proof of disability either through IEP or a statement from the child's doctor and a copy of the child's Medicaid Screening if the child receives Medicaid will be necessary.
To register in Escambia County, stop by the Brewton Head Start Center at 13573 Hwy. 29 or the Freemanville Head Start Center at 115 School Street in Atmore.
