The Atmore Women's Club will sponsor a Father-Daughter Dance on Feb. 28 from 7-10 p.m. at The Wisteria. The dress for the evening will be Sunday attire.
The Women's Club will use the proceeds from the dance to benefit future civic projects in the Atmore community. Tickets are available for $12 per couple ($2 for each additional child) from any Atmore Women's Club member of by calling 368-3206. Tickets will also be available at the door.
"This dance will be a memorable evening for that special young lady and her escort," said Women's Club President Ann Glavan. "There will be prizes donated by local businesses and contests during the evening.
"To make the evening special, couples may request music of their choice be played by our deejay. A photographer will be available to take the couples' picture if they would like to have a permanent memento of the evening."
All fathers, grandfathers, uncles and friends are asked to invite their "special young lady" for this enchanted evening. Andy and Abby Akins enjoyed last year's party and would like to encourage others to join them this year.
"I had a great time," Andy said. "I enjoyed the special time that I was able to spend with Abby."
