If you've ever wanted to shout, "Good Grief," then you need to be at the YMCA Dance Room one night this weekend.
That's because the performance of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," sponsored by the Escambia Council for the Arts, will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m.
Jody Nezovich will serve in the lead role as Charlie Brown while Meagan Adams will play Lucy and Terri Bumann will serve as Snoopy. Other characters will be as follows: Dusty Mason as Linus; Carly Stone as Violet on Thursday, then Kelli Glannagin serving in the role on Friday and Saturday; Lindsey Sherrill as Peppermint Patty; Kate Sherrill as Marcie; Jeremy Troyer as Schroeder; and Haley Pearson as Sally.
Meagan Adams is director of the production while Dayton Long is assistant director and Lindsey Sherrill is music director. Shea Johnson will serve as the accompanist.
All proceeds will benefit Project Linus, a charity that benefits children. In addition, all art contest entries will be on display for all three shows. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 12.
