Kimberly Harvell takes aim and fires at the punching bag on Saturday while her Coach Beau Lehman holds on. Harvell is part of the boxing class held at the Atmore Family Life Center at the old middle school on Martin Luther King Boulevard. The class is taught by Olympic hopeful and former golden glove amateur competitor Todd Bush, pastor of New Life Fellowship Church in Walnut Hill. Bush is currently training with Roy Jones Sr. for the 2004 Olympics and has logged 550 in-ring fights. The class is just one of the extracurricular activities offered by the school. When asked why she joined this particular class Harvell said, "I like hitting the bag."
