Miss ECHS crowned

Escambia County High School named Brittany Rudolph as its Miss ECHS 2003 during the seventh annual pageant competition held at ECHS in the auditorium from 7-9:30 p.m. on Friday night.
Whitney McGill was named first runner-up and was presented with a trophy and a $75 savings bond from United Bank. She also won the title of Most Scholastic.
Brooke McGhee was named second runner-up and received a trophy and a $50 savings bond from United Bank.
Samaria Boggan took home the title of Miss Congeniality while Shauna Ellaird was given the award for Best Poise and Appearance.
Brittney Dailey was named as the fitness award winner and Tamaniek McGhee was given an award for selling the most tickets to the event.
Beth McCartee, Mattie Shepard, and Larry Lindsey served as judges for the night and SGA President Abby Helton served as MC.
Chrissy Brown delighted the crowd with songs during the intermissions.
