Mrs. Marguerite V. Salter, 88, of Huxford, died Wednesday at her residence. She was born Sept. 13, 1914 in Escambia County, Ala. to the late Jackson Kirby and Abbie Jane Thigpen Vickery. She was a retired merchant with Grocery Store and was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Salter, and brother, Albert K. Vickrey.
Mrs. Salter is survived by one sister-in-law, Audrey Vickery of Huxford; a niece, Judy Layton of Lyulee, Fla.; a nephew, Jerry Vickery of Huxford; a step-daughter, Doris Knight of Owassa; many nieces and nephews; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson and Rev. Glen Waldrop officiating. Burial followed at Latter Day Saints Cemetery in Huxford. Pallbearers were Matthew Vickery, Jerry Vickery, Jason Layton, Steve Tuberville, Trey Rogers, and Jason Rogers.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
Trina Annette Nall

Trina Annette Nall, 60, of Prattville, died Monday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laymon and Henrietta Farris.
Mrs. Nall is survived by her husband, Adrian Nall; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kathy Nall of Cynthiana, Ind; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Richard Herring of Abbeville; three granddaughters, Crystal, Melissa, and Britny Nall; four grandsons, Wesley Garrett, Brennan, and Jonah Herring; one sister and brother-in-law, Delia and George Holloway of Prattville; and twenty nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held July 11 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel in Prattville with Elder James Powell, Brother Wayne Nall, and Brother Richard Herring officiating. Burial followed in Prattville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers to the Prattville Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Elder Jerry Abernathy, 272 E. Main Str., Prattville, Ala. 36067.
Ridout's Prattville Cemetery was in charge of arrangements.

Elder Jimmy Lee Baldwin, 55, of Atmore, died Wednesday at Atmore Community Hospital.

Mary Lucille Parham

Mrs. Mary Lucille Parham. 83, of Christian home, died Wednesday in Century. She was a native of Repton and a resident of Christian Home since 1942. She was a member of Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John D. "Jack" Parham; two sons, Malcolm Parham and Dallon Parham; and a granddaughter, Eva Mae Parham.
Mrs. Parham is survived by three sons, Dillon Parham and wife Dianne of Nunnelly, Tenn., Marvin Parham and wife Susan of Webster, Fla., and Rickie Parham and wife Charlotte of Christian Home; two daughters, Thelma Wiggins and husband Rev. R.C. of Byrneville, and Shelia Ward of Christian Home; a brother, Johnnie Burkett of Cantonment; two sisters, Minnie Holland and Estelle Thortis, both of Christina Home; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. James Dillon Parham and Rev. John Shamblin officiating. Burial followed at Christian Home Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Parham, James Parham, Steve Parham, Joel Parham, Jason Parham, Ross Parham, Jeremy Ward, Stephen lee Jackson and Lavon Parham. Honorary pallbearers were Harley Dockens, Sonny McLain, George Long, Clark Caraway, Raymond Kimmons, and F. L. Dockens.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Lucille Gentry

Lucille Gentry, 92, of Prattville, died June 28 at Atmore Community Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Wynell and Tom Kelly of Atmore; seven grandchildren, Debra Scott and husband Donald, Michael Gentry, David Gentry and wife Karen, and Teresa Warren, all of Prattville, Jeff Kelly and wife Ferrell of McDonough, Ga., Bob Kelly and wife Nancy of Columbia, S.C., and Martha Smith and husband Douglas of Fort Walton; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elnora Hurst of Prattville.
Funeral services were held June 30 at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in Independence with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Gentry, David Gentry, Jeff Kelly, Bob Kelly., Don Scott and Douglas Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Durbin, Bill Durbin and Ken Davis.
Ridout's Prattville Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
