Mr. Fedor Drapanczuk, 81, of Atmore died Thursday. He was born in the Ukraine Feb. 28, 1922 and was a retired welder for an automobile manufacturer.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sofia Drapanczuk. He is survived by a daughter, Helen Rolin and husband Don of Atmore, two grandchildren, Natalie Rolin and Stacey Plant and husband Eric, also of Atmore. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Tanner and Madeline Plant.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery with Brother Leo Luker officiating.

Mr. A.W. Williams, 79, died Wednesday at Providence Hospital in Mobile. A native of Barbaur, he had been a resident of Atmore for many years. He was a retired driver for Pepsi-Cola and a member of Gaines Chapel AME Church. An Army veteran, he served his country in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coley L. and Minnie Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta Williams of Atmore; five daughters: JoAnn Williams, Atmore ; Mary Robinson and husband Rev. Dave, Atmore; Kathleen Coley, Atmore; Ann Prowell and husband Veorice of Columbus, Ga.; and Rosie Williams, Atmore. Also survived by four sons: Alfred Williams and wife Dora, Atmore; Clarence Williams and wife Bernice, Atmore; James Williams and wife Alice of Bay Minette; and Melvin Williams and wife Jackie, Atmore. Visitation will be held from 2- 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Turner Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Gaines Chapel AME Church with the Rev. A. T. Days officiating. Burial will follow at Stallworth Cemetery.

George Wayne Lambeth

Mr. George 'Wayne' Lambeth, 53, died Wednesday in Daphne.
A native of Lottie, he had been a resident of Rabun for most of his life. He was a Vietnam veteran and attended the Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by a son, Chad Dewayne Lambeth and wife Lori of Atmore; three daughters April Emmons and husband Steve Kelly of Perdido; Angle Carlton and husband Denny of Bay Minette; Nina Lambeth of Rabun. He is also survived by five sisters: Lillian Rackland of Canoe; Eloise Stewart, Christine Holmes, JoAnn Hall and Martha Hall, all of Bay Minette, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Joe Welch officiating. Burial followed at the White Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Earl Parker, Terry Gill, Kenny Hayles, Ken Hayles, Cole Hayles and Darrell Travis.

William Roscoe Langford

Mr. William Roscoe Langford, 84, died Wednesday. A native of Castleberry, he had been a resident of Atmore since 1987. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a highly decorated Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War. A corporal, he earned a Silver Star as well as a Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Carrie McGaha Landford and his wife, Ida Bell Langford. He is survived by two brothers, Norman Langford of Brewton and Colton Langford of Atmore, and also two sisters, Mabel Land of Cairo, Ga., and Dorothy Prince of Jackson, Tenn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Colton Langford and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens at Milton. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Gideons.

Mazie J. Hanks

Mrs. Mazie J. Hanks, 84, died Tuesday in Flomaton.
A native of Frisco City, she was a resident of Flomaton for the past 30 years. She was retired from Monsanto and attended the Gospel Light Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas B. 'Burley' Hanks and a son, Kenneth Hanks.
She is survived by a son, Thomas 'Tony' Hanks of Jay; five daughters, Genene Baggett of McCullough; Glenda Averett of Atmore; Elizabeth Johnson of Century; Tiny Waters of Century; Mary Griffis and a special son-in-law, Wayne Griffis, of Flomaton. She is also survived by a sister, Luvernia Calloway of Atmore, 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gospel Light Temple with Rev. Bobby Carnley and Brother Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Sammy Portwood, Jamie Garrett, Greg Sims, Bud Campbell, Wade White and Bryan Caro. Honorary pallbearers were Johnnie Griffis, Chad Hanks, Jamie Waters, Wade Harris, Matt Hanks, Jimmy Baggett and Robin Baggett
Harlie Dockens

Harlie Dockens, 80, died Aug. 1 in a Florida hospital.
A native of Christian Home, Fla., he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church, a board member of the Freewill Baptist Association and retired from St. Regis after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Fillingim Dockens of Christian Home; two sons, Harlie Lee Dockens of Poquonson, Va., and Randy Dockens of New Town, Penn.; three stepsons, Thomas Fillingim Jr. of McDavid, Fla., John J. Fillingim of Jay, and Neil Fillingim of Brewton; two stepdaughters, Susan Barnes and Gail Chavers, both of Christian Home; a brother, Fotch Dockens of Pensacola; two sisters, Sena Davis of Dogwood Park and Erma Higdon of Poarch; six grandchildren, seven step-grandhildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held 10 a.m. Aug. 4 at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. R.C. Wiggins and Rev. John Shamblin officiating.
Burial followed at Christian Home Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ian Dockens, Ryan Dockens, Michael Fillingim, Cameron Fillingim, Aaron Fillingim and Blake Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be F.W. Dockens, Donald Ray Dockens, Charles Davis, J.B. Jackson, Farriel Dreadin and Billy Ray Criswell.
