Escambia County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. in the courthouse at Brewton.
Sept. 9
Escambia County Library System Board will meet at 1 p.m. in the Atmore Library.
Noon Aerobics will be held Monday and Wednesday at the YMCA with Maire Love-Davis.

Sept. 14
Decendants of Joseph Crocket Rutherford will hold their 12th family reunion starting at 10:30 a.m. at Davisville Community Center (old Davisville School) on Hwy 97. Bring a covered dish and drinks (no alcoholic beverages) and any old family pictures. Lunch will be between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.

Atmore Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Lion's Club Community Center. A round table discussion will be held.
Sept. 16
Northview High School Open House will be at 7 p.m. beginning in the students' homeroom. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Sept. 18
Trinity Episcopal Church will hold a no fee Community Games Night for the entire family from 6:30-9:30 p.m. There will be games for all ages: Chess, Monopoly, bridge, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, checkers and more, plus videos for small children. [An adult must accompany all children.] Light refreshments will be served in a smoke free environment at Trinity, 203 S. Carney St.

Hunter safety class sponsored by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries will be held 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sept. 27 and 1-5 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Jefferson Davis Community College, Brewton Campus. Escambia County Middle School 5th and 6th grade math students only and their parents/guardians are invited to Math Night from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for refreshments and fun. Math activities and SAT 10 scores.
Oct. 1
The ECHS Class of 1958 is celebrating its 45th reunion and invites the classes of 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960 and their spouses or dates for a multi-class party at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Wisteria in downtown Atmore. Atmore YMCA has opened registration for the afterschool program for 2003-2004 school year. Children are transported from schools to he Lions Club Community Center and may participate in projects, games, sports or do homework. The YMCA will also provide a snack. After Baby Comes, a free support group for new moms with babies up to six months old, meets the third Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. until noon at Baptist Medical Park in Pensacola. Susan Hannum, RN, IBCLC, hosts the group which deals with parenting and postpartum issues. This free program is open to the public. For information call 434-4567.

The seniors of Huxford center invite those 60 and over in the Huxford, Uriah, McCullough, Little Rock and Goodway area and their spouses of any age. The center is located in the Huxford Masonic Lodge across from Huxford School and is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no sign, but come on in.
The Atmore Saddle Club will hold a Horse Show/Fun Day the first Saturday of every month. Call Sandy at 446-7517.
