Mrs. Lettie Beatrice Daughtry, 79, of Atmore died Tuesday in Bay Minette. She was a homemaker, born Jan. 8, 1924 in Bay Minette to the late Johnny and Mazie Thompson Lucas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Daughtry. She is survived by five sons, Tommy Carlton of Bay Minette; Clarence Carlton, Billy Carlton and Jim Carlton, all of Atmore; and Johnny Carlton of Eufala; one daughter, Patricia White of Atmore; eight step-children, Houston Daughtry, Charles Daughtry, Bennie McGhee, Frank Jackson McGhee, Doris McGhee, Ellen O'Barr, Emma Jean Owens and Essie Lee Wilkins; one half-brother, Ronald Lucas of Brewton and a half-sister, Gloria Jean Baggett of Loxley; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the Rev. J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial followed at the Bay Minette Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby in charge of all arrangements.
Lance Leonidas Phillips

Mr. Lance Leonidas Phillips, 65, of Gautier, Miss. died Saturday. He was born in Little River, and had been a resident of Gautier for many years. He was a salesman for Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by one son, Wayland W. Phillips of Opelousas, La.; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Rossi of Stafford, Va.; mother Ruby Lee Phillips of Atmore; five brothers, K.C. Phillips of Bay Minette; Charles Warren Phillips of Atmore; Murray O'Neal Phillips of Atmore; David Byron Phillips of Mobile; and Lynn Therrell Phillips of Flomaton. He is also survived by two sisters, Linda Todd of Gautier, and Carmer Jean Lewis of Atmore; two grandchildren, Adam Lance Phillips of Opelousas and Torin Z. Rossi of Stafford, many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane Ledlow officiating. Burial followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
