Mr. Adolph "A.L." Cooper, 84, of Robertsdale, died Thursday at a care facility in Foley. He worked at Sheet Metal Workers International Local 441 for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes R. Cooper of Pine Grove; three daughters, Carolyn Gaboury of Fairfax, Va., Janice Cooper of Pine Grove and Juana Brooks of Fairhope; four sons, Joseph Wayne Cooper of Bay Minette, Larry R. Cooper of Foley, James Cooper of Bel Fountain and David M. Cooper of Robertsdale; a sister, Eunice Miller of Foley; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday from Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Visitation is tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.

Samuel Lassic

Mr. Samuel Lassic, 84, of Atmore, died Thursday at Atmore Community Hospital.
Services to be announced by the Turner Funeral Chapel.
Emmanette Nall Hughes

Mrs. Emmanette Nall Hughes, 74, of Atmore, died Wednesday in a Pensacola hospital. She was a member of the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church in McCullough and was a retired employee of United Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavaugh Hughes and her parents, Willie and Myrtice Nall.
She is survived by a daughter, Hazel Nordstrom of Milton; two brothers, Adrian Nall of Prattville and Shelby Nall of Pensacola; four sisters, Louise Powell of Decatur, Wilda Knox of Gaithersburg, Md., Aurora Nell Crook of Atmore and Mira Barton of Mobile; and one grandchild, Casey Nordstrom.
Services were held Saturday at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Dan Cates and Elder James Powell officiating. Burial followed in the Corinth Primitive Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Corinth Primitive Church, 500 Presswood Bridge Rd., Atmore, AL 36502.

James Robert Wall

Mr. James Robert Wall, 62, of the Pine Grove Community in Bay Minette, died Wednesday at Providence Hospital. He was a self-employed truck driver and veteran of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Wall of Pine Grove; one son, James Lyons of Pine Grove; one brother, David Wall of Bay Minette; two sisters, Peggy Johnson of Atmore and Juanita Clark of Mobile; three grandchildren, Christina Williams of Crossroads, Duane Lyons of Crossroads and David Lyons of Loxley; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Clark officiating. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Ellen H Maddox

Mrs. Ellen H. Maddox. 74, of Atmore died Tuesday. She was a bank teller at First National Bank, born Sept. 25, 1929 in Escambia County to the late Hollis and Annis Clark Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Maddox.
She is survived by a son, Henry Maddox and wife Deborah of Millbrook; a daughter, Debbie Rutherford and husband Charlie of Atmore; a brother, Jessie Pete Hall of Lacy, Wash.; two sisters, Barbara Griffin of Shreveport, La. and Pat White of Waynesboro, Miss.; four grandchildren, Kristina Rutherford Kimbrel and husband Chris, Hank Maddox, Bekah Maddox Ninesling and husband Eric; and T.J. Maddox.
Services were held Thursday at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating. Pallbearers were Tony White, Thomas Hall, Bishop Lyons Glenn Jernigan, John Garrard and Don Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Autry Ziglar, Vernon Smith, Dale Hurst, Kenny Dickerson and Thomas Royal.
Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. Johnson-Quimby in charge of arrangements.
