Woodmen of the World Lodges 1872 and 1892 will meet at 6:00 at the VFW building at 206 West Ashley St. This will be their annual Christmas Party, and members need to bring a dish to compliment ham. All members are invited to attend. Please RSVP Jettie Everette by Dec. 6 at 368-4986 with number in your family attending and what you will bring. All future meetings will be held the second Thursday night of each month at 6 p.m

A Christmas Story 7 p.m.Dec. 12- 13 at JDCC in Brewton and Dec. 15-16 At Escambia County High School Auditorium in Atmore. Adult admission is $6.00. Students l8 and younger admitted free. College students may be admitted free with a college ID
Dec. 13
Escambia County Historical Society Christmas party. Time and place to be announced.
Kiln Walk showcase 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Navarre Parkway, Highway 98. Raku firing on site.
Jan. 15
Master Gardener classes, offered by the Escambia County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, begin. The classes will be held in the Atmore United Methodist Church and the course will include Plant Physiology, Turf, Soils, Vegetables, Fruits, Landscape design, Plant Pathology, Bedding Plants, Insect and Weed Control and other topics. To register for the classes, which run from Jan. 15-April 1, or for more information, you may call 867-7760.
