Family Fun Day. A day to enjoy your family and friends. In loving memory of Thomas Boatwright and others. On Saturday at 8 a.m.-until. It will take place at Boatwright's "Pasture by the Pond" Nokomis Hwy 31. Please bring you keepsakes and pictures to place on the memorial table to honor our passed loved ones lost to cancer. Donations only. Children's fishing tournament 8-10 a.m. ten years old and under, covered wagon rides, face painting, moon walks, old west show, working saw mill exhibit, live music, dinner plates, memorial motorcycle run, karate demonstrations, car show, quilt show, horseshoes, auction at 1 p.m. and T-shirts for sale $12. The Coffee County Arts Alliance presents the 30th Annual Piney Woods Arts Festival on the grounds of Enterprise-Ozark Community College, located at the intersection of Boll Weevil Circle and Highway 167 South, Enterprise, AL. Festival hours are 9:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Noon to 4 pm on Sunday. Original art, crafts, special displays, food and entertainment will provide something for everyone. The Children's Fun Center provides activities for younger attendees. Other events associated with Piney Woods are a Flower Show, a Quilt Display, a Car and Truck Show, &a Soccer Competition. In honor of their 60th wedding anniversary, the family of Martin and Anna Weber are hosting a drop-in reception on Sunday from 2 – 5 PM at Grace Fellowship Church located on Highway 31 next to Atmore Florist. Friends are invited to attend.
Bay Area Strings will be performing at The Uriah United Methodist Church. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.

Jewelry Sale by Phantasia's. Everything is five dollars. Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Atmore Community Hospital Mayson Auditorium. Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted. Proceeds benefit the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Kindergarten Registration for Rachel Patterson Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Child must be five years old on or before September 1. Need to bring a birth certificate, immunization record, and social security card. Please bring your child with you for screening. The Health Department will have a walk-in clinic on April 29th from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in order to assist parents with children's immunization. Call 368-9188 for details.
EvenStart Pre-K Program Registration will begin registration on Friday, April 30, 2004 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the EvenStart Building (old SAIL Center building) in Poarch. Child must have birth certificate, social security card, Alabama blue slip (shot records), must be four years old by September 1, 2004 and must live in Escambia County, Ala. The above documents are required at registration in order for you child to be eligible for this program, as we can only accommodate 18 in this class. The drawing will be held the afternoon of registration.
