Poll Worker Workshops for persons interested in working at the polls in the Primary Election to be held on June 1, 2004. Please attend one of these workshops: Atmore City Hall at 1:30 p.m., Flomaton Community Center at 3:30 p.m., or Old East Brewton Civic Center at 6:30 p.m.
Retired Teachers Meeting at 11 a.m. at the Creek Family Restaurant.

Open House at Hospitality House Ministry from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be refreshments and a tour of the house. They will tell what they have accomplished in just two years.
May 17
Atmore Historical Society will have their annual meeting at 7 p.m. This meeting will be in the Peavy Webb Building in Heritage Park. New officers for the year 2004-2005 will be elected. If you are interested you are invited to attend and become a new member.
May 19
Red Cross meeting at 12 noon at David's Catfish.
May 21
Sullivan Cemetery Business Meeting at Sullivan Cemetery in Nokomis at 6 p.m. Bring your own chairs!
May 23
Greater Escambia Council for the Arts (GECA) will hold auditions for their summer performance of Oklahoma! at 2 p.m. at the Lions Community Center.
June 1
"Step to the Beat" is the theme for Atmore Public Library's 2004 Summer Library Program. Young people ages 5 to 12 are invited to join. The program starts at 10 a.m. with Rick Rakestraw and his exotic animals. The second program will be Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. Four programs will continue each Friday with the final program on July 9. For more information call the library at 368-5234.

Wiggins Annual Family Reunion at Walnut Hill Community Center on Hwy 97 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring covered dish. All family and friends are invited to attend.
June 16
Perfect Game Softball will be hosting an Identification (Exposure) Camp at Troy State University This one-day event is for softball player's ages 13-18 interested in showcasing their skills in front of Perfect Game Scouts. Results of the assessment will be placed on our official website, as well as sent out to college coaches nation-wide.
