Huxford Elementary will have a summer kindergarten registration for the 2004-2005 school year from 7 to 11 a.m. In order to register, the parent must bring, at the time of registration, the child's social security card, birth certificate and blue immunization card.
Northview Sports Booster Club will have its officer election meeting at 6 p.m. in the Northview weight room.
June 5
Will and Bessie McGhee first ever family reunion will be at the Pow-Wow grounds at 10 a.m. Bring lawn chairs, beverages and a desert. Other food will be provided. The day will be filled with many activities. Call Marie McGhee Martin 368-5474.
Escambia County Rabies Clinics will be at Canoe Tack and Feed from 12 to 12:30 p.m., Huxford School from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. and McCullough Cross Road Grocery from 1:30 to 2 p.m. It is $8.00 per animal.
June 6
Wiggins Annual Family Reunion at Walnut Hill Community Center on Hwy 97 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring a covered dish. All family and friends are invited to attend.

June 9-10
The GED test will be administered at Reid State Technical College. A valid picture ID is required for test application and testing. Letters of approval are also required for persons under the age of 18. GED testing is $40.00. Students attending GED classes and receiving approval from the instructor are allowed to test free of charge. If you have taken the test before, please bring a copy of test scores. The 39th annual Ledkins Family Reunion, descendants of Sarah Thompson and Joseph L. Ledkins, will be held at 4:30 p.m. at David's Catfish in Atmore on Friday. On Saturday, the reunion will be at the Byrneville Community Center beginning at 10 a.m. Attendees are asked to bring a vegetable, a dessert and something for a silent auction. Earnest Ward in Walnut Hill will have a "Class Get Together" since Dennis Dortch is home. The event will be held on Saturday, June 12 at the Atmore Park from 1 – 3 p.m. His sisters, Martha, Gail and Kay will also be there. Bring your lawn chairs and pass the word around! Victory Community Church, Hobbs Circle in Robinsonville, will hold a fish fry beginning at 10 a.m. with plates served at 11 a.m. There will be gospel music, a cake walk, horseshoes game, auction, etc. Everyone is invited to attend.
