The GED test will be administered at Reid State Technical College. A valid picture ID is required for test application and testing. Letters of approval are also required for persons under the age of 18. GED testing is $40.00. Students attending GED classes and receiving approval from the instructor are allowed to test free of charge. If you have taken the test before, please bring a copy of test scores. The 39th annual Ledkins Family Reunion, descendants of Sarah Thompson and Joseph L. Ledkins, will be held at 4:30 p.m. at David's Catfish in Atmore on Friday. Disposal of worn and tattered American Flags at 8 p.m. behind the VFW Fellowship and Memorial Hall on Ashley Street. Atmore area citizens are asked to bring their flags for burning or drop them in advance at the American Legion Building on Church Street or the VFW Fellowship and Memorial Hall. Perfect Game Softball will be hosting an Identification (Exposure) Camp at Troy State University for softball player's ages 13-18 interested in showcasing their skills in front of Perfect Game Scouts. The BIA- Rosenwald- Union High School National Alumni Association, Inc. will hold its16th annual session at the Baptist Center on Clausell Road in Monroeville.
