Company A Family Support will be at the Atmore Family Pharmacy located at 410 East Church Street from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to accept drop box items for our soldiers in Iraq. We will also have drop boxes to accept school supplies, clothing and toys for the Iraqi children and orphans. Ribbon Service pins, Unity Service pins, Yellow Bows and possibly yellow ribbon car magnets will be on site for sale also.

The Humane Society of Escambia County will host a "Shot and Wash" from noon-3 p.m. at Animal Medical Service, 40990 Hwy 31 in Brewton. Rabies Vaccination will be $8.00 per animal, baths for dogs only will be small $5.00, medium $10.00, large $15.00. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society Spay and Neuter fund for Adoptive Pets. The Atmore Community Cancer Support Group will meet at First Assembly of God Church. Special speaker for this month is Mary Jane Schrock, RN, Health Educator for the Atmore Community Hospital. Meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Graduation Exam Testing Schedule Monday-Social Studies, Tuesday-Science, Wednesday-Math, Thursday-Reading and Friday-Language. Testing will be for upcoming Senior Class and all classes graduating prior to 2005. All students testing have to be at Escambia County High School at 8:45 a.m.

The Escambia County Board of Education's Federal Programs Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Atmore Central Office, 501 South Pensacola Avenue. The public is invited.

The Open Buddy bass tournament will be held from safelight to 3 p.m. at Isaac Creek Landing, located at the Claiborne Lock and dam on the Alabama River. Registration forms are available from Donnie Gibson or at Paul's Tackle Box and must be turned in by 4:30 a.m. the day of the tournament. Registration is $80, which includes a $10 lunker pot. The Greater Escambia for the Arts will present Oklahoma at Escambia County High School. Shows are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children. Tickets are available at United Bank or from any cast member. Call 368-3899 for more information.
