Harold Musselman Bucher
Mr. Harold Musselman Bucher, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at his residence.
He was born Febrary 23, 1924 in Mummaburg, Pa. to the late Bella L. and Anna Mable Musselman Bucher. He was a former resident of Scottsdale, Pa. and Atmore. He was the owner of Bucher Electrical Service in Atmore and worked at Mennonite Publishing House in Scottsdale, Pa. where he worked in preventative maintenance. He was a member of Jubilee Mennonite Church in Bellefontaine, Ohio and was preceded in death by his son, Dale E. Bucher.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Rush Yother Bucher of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a son, David E. Bucher of Fairfax, Va.; two daughters, Rachel Bucher Kauffman and husband Roger of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Carol Bucher Bixler and husband Sam of Indianapolis, Ind.; a former daughter-in-law, Rebecca Acquisto and husband Mark of St. Louis, Mo.; his brothers, Samuel Bucher and wife Kathryn of Harman, W. Va. and John Bucher and wife Mildred of Salunga, Pa.; a sister, Anna Louis Charles of Lancaster, Pa.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. James Dortch of Atmore died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.

Lonie Erie Embley
Mrs. Lonie Erie Embley, 87, of Mobile died Thursday, July 22, 2004 in Mobile.
She was born August 17, 1916 in Butler County to the late Hillary H. and Lillian McInvale Freeman. She was a retired homemaker and a former Atmore resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Embley.
She is survived by one son, Anthony Embley of Saraland; one daughter, Carolyn Embley of Chicksaw; one brother, Newton Freeman of Galveston, Texas; one sister, Gladys Baker of Daphne; five grandchildren, Anita Catherine Embley; Lacy Elizabeth Embley; Anthony Embley, Jr. and wife Jenny; Benji Godwin and wife Shelia; and Buddy Johnson and six great-grandchildren, Jamie, Katlyn, Robin, Desire, Danny and Taylor.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 25 at Johnson Quimby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Robinsonville Baptist Cemetery with Dr. Wimer Baker officiating.

Mark Dewayne Hall
Mark Dewayne Hall, 28, of Atmore, died Thursday, July 15, 2004.
He was born May 27, 1976 in Atmore to Cynthia Dale and George Cooper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Nelson Hall, Sr and aunt Irish Riley.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Cynthia and Fred Dale; his father and step-mother George and Sharon Cooper; his brothers Fredric Hall and Tony Hall of Atmore, Gamarlowe Cooper, Theantry Cooper, Michael Dickson, Kendrick Graves and Tervois Graves all of Uriah; a sister, Tameka Johnson; aunts Mary Jean Hall and husband Bernard, Ivory Walker, Dorothy Albert and husband David, Lillie Bell Hall, Voncile Hall and husband Willie; great-aunts Lillie Ruth Wiggins, Rachel Wiggins and husband John, Annie Brown, Iola Tucker, Ceola Watson and Mattie Hawkins; uncles Nelson Hall and wife Sherry, Danielle Hall and wife Sharonda of Atmore, Anthony Hall of Mobile, Michael Hall and wife Jackie of Walnut Hill, Randy Hall, Mark Hall and Leo Hall, all of Pensacola; great-uncles Charles Brown, Willie Brown and wife Pearl, James Rivers and wife Brenda both of Atmore, Robert Earl Rivers of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Milton River of Huntsville; great-great-uncle Will Mack Dortch of Atmore; and friends John Craft, Shunta Smith, Tiffany Gulley and Hawkeye.
Services were held Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church with Rev. Freddie Banks officiating. Pallbearers were friends of the family.

Donald Ray Henderson
Mr. Donald Ray Henderson, 52, of Atmore, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at a Pensacola hospital.
He was a native of Pensacola and a resident of Atmore for 32 years. He was active at Cross Point Baptist Church as an usher and was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Agnes Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Henderson of Atmore; his daughter, Connie Morgan of Atmore; four sisters, Peggy Moore of Pensacola, Barbara Taylor of Pensacola, Mary Eva Rau of Jacksonville and Joanne Mathis of Milton.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. J.T. Guyton officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Caraway, Kevin Presley, Jerry Searcy, Charlie Fugua, Mitch White and Jamie King.

Robert Lewis "RL" Pryor
Mr. Robert Lewis "RL" Pryor, 78, of Huxford, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at his residence.
He was born January 31, 1926 in Walnut Hill to the late Robert Olen and Lillie Isler Pryor. He was a retired farmer and a member of Huxford Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Lena Pryor Folmer and Estelle Pryor Reynolds, both of Huxford; three neices, Kathy Folmar McKinley of Atmore, Laura Folmar Peacock of Enterprise and Lavane Palmer Vickery of Molino and two nephews, Gerald Palmer of Huxford and Olen Palmer of Brewton.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 23, 2004 at Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Billy Hodges officiating. Pallbearers were William A. Gorum, Sr., Ralph Robinson, Jimmy Bookar, Bryan Peacock, Brannon Parmer and Kevin Vickrey. Honorary Leonard Snider, J.D. Womack, Ray Womack, Dehryl Croley and James Snider.

Addie Ruth Rider
Mrs. Addie Ruth Rider, 85, of White House Fork, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004.
She was a native of Jemison, a former resident of Robertsdale and a resident of Bay Minette for the past 65 years. She attended White House Fork Pentacostal Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Joseph Gussie Rider, Sr., a daughter, Esther Ruth Rider Wyers, and a granddaughter, Terry Sue Rider.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Gussie Rider, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Bay Minette and Gerald Miller Rider and wife Judy of Bay Minette; three daughters, Linda Faye Peacock and husband Lonnell of Bay Minette, Martha Ann Scott and husband Wayne of Marietta, Ga. and Rebecca Lynn Rider of Mobile; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a special niece Bama Thornton of Bay Minette.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, at White House Fork Pentacostal Holiness Church with Bro. Leon Stewart and Pastor Michael McRae officiating. Burial followed at Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Weekley, Jessie Peacock, Brandon Scott, Greg Allen Roberts, Jerry Rider and Charlie Huffman. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Stanford and Ashley Rider.

Marjorie B. Weaver
Mrs. Marjorie B. Weaver, 77, of Atmore died Thursday, July 22, 2004 in Atmore. She was a cake decorator for the bakery and was born July 3, 1927 in Uriah to Blanchard and Dessie Melvin Bohannon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ewing Weaver.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Howard of Atmore; one sister, Evelyn Ellis of Gulf Shores; two grandchildren Mary Anne Cumminskey and husband Shaea and Thomas Smith and wife Tammy.
Memorial services were held Saturday, July 24, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Coon officiating.
