The Greater Escambia for the Arts will present Oklahoma at Escambia County High School. Shows are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children. Tickets are available at United Bank or from any cast member. Call 368-3899 for more information.

NWE will hold football registration from 10 a.m. to noon at Ernets Ward Football field. registration is $60. If registering for the first time, bring a copy of the birth certificate. Call David Bell at 256-5266 for more info.

Escambia County Middle School will hold an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Parents and students will be able to pick up schedules and tour the school.
August 6
Meet the Teacher Day for first and second grade students is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Rachel Patterson Elementary School.
August 7

Kindergarten Orientation and Meet the Teacher Day will be at 9 a.m. at Rachel Patterson Elementary School Kindergarten students will dismiss after orientation and Meet the Teacher. Class lists will be posted on Meet the Teacher Day.

The Open Buddy Bass Tournament will be held from safelight until 3 p.m. at Isaac Creek Landing located at the Claiborne Lock and Dam on the Alabama River. registration begins at 4:30 a.m. at Paul's Tackle Box.
